Misfortune is the bottom of a carriage.

Here's some comments written by a couple of students at the Santa Fe Indian School when I performed this piece for them:

"I think of being in the zoo , in that one bird place where all the birds are flying around. It sounds pretty cool! I enter water and then pass through to another time; the past where now I am listening to the old gods chanting and talking their great wisdom."

"I really liked the bird song. It really does help you continue your dream until the end. I finally finished saying goodbye to my sister's baby and now I feel much better. I feel much better. It makes you feel really relaxed. It makes me forget all the pain inside that you really want to go away."
